Dear colleagues,
We are very pleased to inform you that the World Conference on Carbon 2025 (Carbon2025) will take place in Saint-Malo (Brittany, France)
from June 29th to July 4th, 2025.
This message is addressed to all members of the carbon materials science and technology community who may be interested in joining the event, jointly organized by the Société Francophone d’Étude des Carbones (SFEC) and the University of Rennes, on behalf of the European Carbon Association (ECA).
The official conference website is now available at www.carbon2025.org, where details on the conference topics, organization, and venue are available. The event will take place at the Palais du Grand Large, the conference center built along the beach at walking distance of the historic city center and battlements of Saint-Malo.
Our five plenary lecturers have already accepted our invitation and we are delighted to welcome them.

– Fernando Pereira (Portugal, catalysis)
– Patrice Simon (France, batteries)
This panel will be enriched by keynotes and regular lectures selected from the participants’ proposals by the Scientific Committee.
You are thus cordially invited to submit an abstract to participate in the conference as a speaker or a poster presenter.
The deadline for abstract submission is January 8th, 2025.
